Terms of Service
Last updated 27 September 2026
The agreement between you and us when you use Market Mastery. Written to be read rather than skipped - if a clause matters to you, it is stated plainly enough to find.
1. Who you are contracting with
Market Mastery is operated by Market Mastery Journal Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17476570, whose registered office is at 195-197 Wood Street, Suite RA01, London E17 3NU, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@marketmasteryjournal.com or by post at that address. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old.
2. Your account
You need a confirmed email address to use Market Mastery. Keep your password to yourself - you are responsible for what happens under your account, and we cannot tell an authorised sign-in from an unauthorised one.
One account is for one person. Sharing a login is not permitted.
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.
3. Subscription and payment
Market Mastery is a paid service with no free tier. Current pricing:
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $15 USD | Every month, until cancelled |
| Annual | $150 USD | Every year, until cancelled |
Prices are in US dollars. If your card is denominated in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period using the payment method on file, until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.
If a payment fails we may retry it. If it keeps failing, access is suspended until payment succeeds. Your journal is not deleted for non-payment.
We may change prices, but not for an existing subscription without telling you by email at least 30 days beforehand. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
4. Cancelling and refunds
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing & subscription, which opens Stripe's portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for - you keep access until then, and are not charged again.
Your 14-day right to cancel
As a consumer buying online you normally have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Because Market Mastery is digital content supplied immediately, you are asked to agree at checkout that supply begins at once - which means you lose that 14-day cancellation right once you start using the service. That is a legal consequence of getting access immediately rather than waiting 14 days, and it is why we say so here rather than burying it.
Refunds
Beyond that, we do not generally refund part-used periods - you keep access for what you paid for.
We will refund in full if: you were charged after cancelling; you were charged twice for the same period; or the service was substantially unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault.
Email us and we will look at it properly. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
5. This is not financial advice
Market Mastery is a record-keeping tool, not an advisor. Nothing in the app - no statistic, score, chart or summary - is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not provide investment advice, portfolio management or signals.
Trading carries risk and you can lose more than you deposit. Past results shown in your journal do not predict future ones. Decisions you take after reading your journal are yours alone.
6. Your data is yours
You keep ownership of everything you put into Market Mastery. We claim no rights over your trades, notes or screenshots.
We store and process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export everything at any time, and delete your account whenever you like - see the Privacy Policy for exactly what deletion removes.
7. Broker connections
Connecting a broker is optional. If you do, you authorise us to read your trading history from that account.
We only ever read. We do not place, change or cancel orders, and we cannot move money.
We are not responsible for your broker's availability, accuracy or terms. If a broker changes how it works, sync may stop until we adapt. Always treat your broker's own statements as the authoritative record - particularly for tax.
8. Acceptable use
Do not: share your account; attempt to access anyone else's data; probe, scan or attack the service; scrape it or resell access; upload unlawful material; or use it to break the law.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where it is fair to do so we will warn you first.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Market Mastery available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting failures and third-party outages happen.
Your journal is backed up nightly and kept for 30 days. Even so, please keep your own exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or decisions you make using information in your journal. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your account.
We may end it by giving you 30 days' notice by email, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. If we end it without your being at fault, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days beforehand, and you can cancel if you do not accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
