iShared links
iEach of these is one entry, readable by anyone holding its link. Unpublishing kills the link straight away; publishing that entry again later creates a different one.
Account plans
iThe plans below come with the journal and are read-only - Apex's figures are their own published ones. Add your own firm's and it is offered beside them whenever you add a prop account. Where a trailing threshold stops can depend on the stage and the platform, so it is worked out for the account it is applied to.
Instruments
i
Brokers spell the same instrument differently - EURUSD, EURUSD.gbe,
EURUSD_raw - and without being told otherwise the journal counts each spelling
as an instrument of its own. Put a broker's spelling underneath the instrument it belongs
to and every filter, breakdown and total treats the two as one. Your trades keep whatever
the broker actually sent.
Breakeven
iA trade that finishes within a hair of flat is neither a win nor a loss. Anything landing inside this band is counted as breakeven - kept out of win rate and profit factor, and shown in amber on the calendar rather than green or red. The band is set in R, so it means the same on every account whatever its size.
R-multiples
iA trade's stop decides what one R was worth. Net of costs then reads the trade's result after commission, swap and fees against it, so a stop-out that paid commission is a little over -1R and the calendar in R adds up to what your account really made. Price only measures the move alone - a 1:3 is exactly 3R. Costs are known for trades synced from a broker and Tradovate Fills files; anything else reads the same either way. The same switch sits on a trade's R-multiple.
Data
i
The export is a .zip holding journal.json, your screenshots as
ordinary image files, and a trades.csv copy. Importing one replaces
everything currently in the journal, after asking first.

iTime zones
iTimes you type are read as this zone's clock, and each time in the journal shows what it was in the zones below it. Trades synced from a broker already carry the exact moment, so they convert from that. Nothing you have logged is changed.
Date format
iCalendar days
iHiding the weekend hides its tiles only. A weekend trade still counts in every total, and a week card that includes one says so.
Locking
iYour journal stays signed in, but hides itself behind your password. Five wrong attempts signs you out properly.
Face ID / Touch ID
Unlock with your face or fingerprint instead of typing your password. They never leave your device - the journal only keeps a key that proves it is you - and your password still works. Adding a device needs your password, and you are emailed whenever one is added.
Erase all data
Removes every account, trade, setup, screenshot, playbook and setting from this browser, leaving an empty journal. There is no undo - export a backup first if there is anything you want to keep.
Delete account
Closes your account for good and removes every trade, setup, screenshot and setting from our servers. Any subscription is cancelled at the same time. You will be asked for your password, and there is no undo - export a backup first if there is anything you want to keep.
